it’s now firmly my headcanon that;
- the drop and roll was the first attempt to get Darren to crack
- Chris aimed to clip Darren with his feet after the first few times
- Heather is totally in on it, and thinks she can make him crack first
- Chris thought cutesie might work initially, hence honey/sweetheart/pookie etc
- when that failed, he decided to go for shock factor (their future kids)
- when that failed, he decided to play dirty (exotic dancer imagery, hello)
- now that’s failed, he’s going to have to pull out all the stops
this can only mean one thing: the only direction this can go from here is even more awesome.
